These have become associated with Easter

in such a manner that we can hardly get rid of them

from our Easter functions.

From decoration, to fun, from confectionery to meal,

from rites to rhymes, they are everywhere during the Easter.

But what do they stand for ?

And how did they come to be associated

with the traditions of Easter? And why?
